Yesterday’s Phenology: 65 degrees. What can you say? A record-breaking warm spell for November, but perhaps not a record that will stand for along time, unfortunately. Are phenologists generally gloomy about the future? Or mostly dispassionate observers/recorders of natural phenomenon? Or both? In any case, we’ll have our longest growing season on record this year, and our latest hard frost in the Twin Cities. And it’s not really anything to be too happy about.
