Yesterday’s Phenology: The temperatures been hovering between 32 and 33 for about the last 20 hours, and the sky has been overcast since 2016, it seems. But today seemed a bit colder than yesterday (and I guess it was a couple of degrees colder.) And they sky seemed darker and the gloom that landed with a thud on 20 January has only deepened. Occasional couples of geese fly over the house, headed for the river. They cheer me up, their pristine goosiness.
