Yesterday’s Phenology: A bright and sunny and middling warmish day. Maybe in the 50s? Geese swimming on the pond with mallards, and I remembered seeing the wee bufflehead last year, and that reminded me to get out more to watch for the migratory birds passing through. Last spring was a good one for birds, as I recall. There was the cormorant, too, later on. And so: Be Alert! Things are happening rapidly out there! Lots of green buds on plants, lots of little blue flowers in a neighbors yard. It’s Spring all right.
