Yesterday’s Phenology: Very nice day; dog park in the morning was warm enough and mostly sunny. Lots of woodpeckers and cardinals at the dogpark, and a large raptor circling overhead, which I’m not sure what it was, but perhaps an osprey? Not an eagle. I don’t think a hawk, either. Very large, circling very gracefully. I’m not so good at identifying these raptors from below. Maybe it was a Condor? (kidding.) Very cool. Elsewhere on the Phenology front, the temp was probably in the upper 60s today, and we had a short thunderstorm in the late afternoon that dropped a lot of rain for about 15 minutes. Passing showers later on. Should get things greening up a bit.
