down to the dog park, at coldwater spring

Yesterday’s Phenology: A sunny day. Oppressively so. With a bit of a headwind, if you’re biking in an easterly direction, unpleasant if you’re tired and on your way home and going up hill. The garden flourishes, though. Kale and lettuce, baby cucumbers on the vine, and raspberries soon to make an appearance.

Yesterday’s Phenology: Another Pretty Darn Nice Day (PDND). 70s? check, cloudy? check. cool nights? check. Perfect dog walking weather.

Yesterday’s Phenology: It was cooler and cloudy in the morning, perhaps in the 70s. The big thunderstorm hit at about 9 or so… just as we were making our way back to the car at the dog park. It got very very dark, and it rained very very hard, and we got to the car just as the hail started. It rained much of the morning, then was cloudy and cooler and much nice through the rest of the day, with periods of rain, temps in the 60s and 70s. Should green things up a bit.

Yesterday’s Phenology: A nice cool (50ish) morning. An overabundance of sun throughout the day. the goslings are gosling about the pond, they are surprisingly big, teen goslings, practically. Where does the time go? Tick Tock Tick Tock. Soon it will be fall again, the leaves now green will be dry and blown about by the chill north wind. Today, though, it’s teen goslings frolicking in the shady grass by the pond.

Yesterday’s Phenology: The temperature warmed up to the lower mid 50s today, and have kind of stayed there all day. It seems chillier. Overcast sky and a bit breezy. Perhaps it didn’t rain today. Not as far as I could tell. A pretty perfect spring day.

spring pops up

Yesterday’s Phenology: I hear it’s been dry in Northern Ireland. Here, quite a bit of rain in the night, lightning and thunder, and then again yesterday morning, and then some sun, and then some more thunder and rain. Things are green and damp and it feels June-like, though change is in the wind. One thing’s for certain: more rain is predicted for tonight and tomorrow.
